BRAMS Kids Club is a health education program that has been developed by the Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS). The program aims to promote and encourage health behaviours relevant to the Broome area, and as a result, reduce preventable health issues in young people.
Available to playgroups, primary schools and any childcare services around Broome, BRAMS Kids Club offers free health education workshops across four focus areas that are vital for growing up strong, happy, healthy kids.
Our focus areas are ‘Healthy Teeth’, ‘Move Your Body’, ‘Good Tucker’, and ‘Emotional Wellbeing’, each represented by a different saltwater animal relevant to the Kimberley region.
BRAMS Kids Club aims to provide fun and culturally safe health education for all Broome kids, as well as promoting 715 Health Checks, available at BRAMS, for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
